Our ‘Leadership for Reconciliation’ Program has evolved to include all students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The program aims to:
- Expose the children to the richness of Indigenous songs and traditions
- Strengthen reconciliation between indigenous and non-indigenous students
- Strengthen the educational outcomes for all students of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Primary School Waterloo
- Build the children’s self-esteem and confidence.
We value the input and opinion of every student at OLMC and believe that each child is an important stakeholder in our community. Student-driven learning in our classrooms enables students to have a voice and be active participants in their learning journey.
